About the role
You will own the technical relationship with UAV manufacturers integrating ZeroPhase systems into their platforms. This means getting into the hardware, working directly with customer engineers, solving integration problems fast, and staying close enough to the product to know when something needs to go back to our engineering team and when you can resolve it yourself.
This is not account management. You are a technical owner who happens to face the customer, and the customer's engineers will expect you to keep up.
What you'll do
- Own the integration of ZeroPhase datalink systems into customer UAV platforms, from first hardware delivery through flight validation.
- Work directly alongside customer engineering teams to resolve integration challenges, debug issues, and get systems performing correctly in the field.
- Define and execute integration test plans together with customers and our internal team, document results, and close open issues systematically.
- Manage multiple customer projects in parallel, tracking status and ensuring nothing stalls without a clear next action.
- Feed customer learnings back into product and engineering: integration friction, failure modes, feature gaps, field performance data.
- Build strong working relationships with customer-side engineers and technical leads.
- Travel to customer sites and test facilities across Europe. For those who want it, exposure to operational environments including Ukraine is available.
What we're looking for
- 3 to 6 years in a technical integration, field engineering, or customer-facing engineering role, ideally with hardware products.
- Hands-on: comfortable on a bench, reading schematics, running tests, and debugging in the field when things do not work as expected.
- Enough RF and embedded systems knowledge to understand what our product does, why integration can be non-trivial, and where to start when something fails.
- Fast-moving and pragmatic. UAV manufacturer timelines are aggressive and your customers will not wait.
- Clear communicator in English and German.
- Organised enough to manage several active integrations at once without losing track.
Bonus: not required
- Direct experience with UAV platforms, UAV manufacturers, or avionics integration.
- Background in RF, communications, or SDR systems.
- Experience working with customers in operational or near-operational environments.
How the hiring process works
- Intro call. 30 minutes with our recruiting team. We'll learn about your background, and you'll learn about the mission.
- Deep dive. A working session with one of our integration engineers on a real field or test problem.
- Case study, in Munich. A visit to the lab for a live hardware scenario with the team, in person if you can make it or over Teams if you can't.
- The offer. By now you've likely already met our CEO. This round is where we make it official: fast, transparent, and built around the mission.
